YAY or NAY?
This Urban Decay Concealer is very highly raved and talked about on youtube so I decided during the Sephora VIB sale that I would try it out. It is $28 and is .16oz. It comes in 8 different shades, I bought mine in FAIR because I am still ghostly in color and because I like my Concealer for highlighting as well. The tube it comes in is very sleek and feels very high end, it is plastic thank god so if you drop it it will not shatter unlike the MAC Pro Longwear Concealer which is in a glass container and will shatter easily if it falls. The Urban Decay Concealer has a interesting doe foot applicator that has nice movement to it so it's not hard on the skin when applying. MAC Pro Longwear Concealer comes in a pump bottle and you have to apply with a finger or brush. Let me just point out that this concealer on me is very drying and it also does not hide my dark circles. I use it pretty generously and blend it in with my beauty blender and set with my Banana Powder (which I do with all my concealers) but for some reason I can still see my dark circles popping through and my under eye area looks very dry. So far I'm not the thrilled with this product and would recommend MAC's Concealer over this one any day, or a drug store alternative which I'm loving right now would be the Maybelline Master Concealer. I do not think this concealer is worth $28, but maybe like $15 at most for the packaging perks. I will continue to use this concealer to see if my application has anything to do with this problem I'm having and will update later. But as of right now I am not happy with this concealer and do not recommend at all. I use a very hydrating eye cream at night so I know my under-eye area is not dehydrated. For now I give this Concealer and NAY. Will update in a few weeks to give more feedback.

YAY or NAY?
The Tarte Poppy Picnic Palette I bought at Sephora for $38, I did go when it was the Sephora VIB sale so I did get a discount, but I saw this Palette and I think it was more or less the packaging that called me to it. It's in a gorgeous Gold with Poppy Flowers in Pink/Purples on the front. So pretty and girly, the palette has some weight to it like most of Tartes palettes do giving it that luxurious high-end feel. When you open the palette is has a nice big mirror inside and gold interior. There are 6 Matte Eyeshadow shades. (Summer Breeze, Sweet Tea, Ice Cream Cone, Barefoot in the Grass, Peach Poppy, Picnic Basket) Such cute names for spring lol. Then in the middle of the palette there is a full size blush (Glisten) it's a gorgeous light pink with a sheen/shimmer to it, so it gives color and a highlight to the cheeks. I already knew I would love the shadows from this palette because they are all matte and very universal and I loved their Tartlette palette they came out with earlier this year. The blush I was undecided about until I used it, it gives a gorgeous flush to the cheeks and a pretty shine. The shadows are so easy to go from day/night with and I love each one. I am so glad I bought this palette. It looks pretty on my vanity and is wonderful quality. I believe it is totally worth the money. The pans are pretty big in size so it will last for a while. This is a YAY for me! YAY or NAY? Becca Moonstone / Opal Highlighters (Perfecters) - I love these highlighters they are so beautiful. In the winter months I use more of the Moonstone (Champagne Frosting) to give the face a little glow. You can lay it on heavy for an intense highlight or just fan it over the cheeks for a slight sheen. The Opal is absolutely gorgeous (Golden Opal Pearl) in the fall and winter to really give a warm goddess look. The texture of these highlighters are so smooth and creamy almost. They are very easy to apply, almost fool proof. Depending on the brush you choose to use will determine if you want intense or just a soft glow. I use a fan brush to just hit the high points of my cheeps, quick pass on my mid-forehead and chin and my cupids bow, for just a sheer but noticeable shine to my face. GORGEOUS! I believe they last quit a long time. I do my makeup in the morning and it lasts until I take my makeup off before bed. So I would say it lasts for about 8-9 hours. They cost $38 each but I do believe they are worth every penny. They product in the container lasts quite a long time. I have had Moonstone since Aug 2014 and use it everyday and it doesn't even look like I've touched the product. I just bought Opal not to long ago. YAY! Becca Opal Face Illuminator- I had gotten a small sample size of this a while ago and had never really bothered to try it out until one day I was like "what the heck let me see what it does". I mixed a small amount in with my foundation on the back of my hand and then applied all over my face with my beauty blender. I personally didn't really notice a huge difference at first, but all that day I got one compliment after another on my skin. People were stopping and asking me what skin care I was using, or my foundation and how I had such beautiful glowing skin. I was like WOW and then realized the only thing I did differently was the Illuminator. So the next couple days I didn't use it just to see if I would get any more compliments, got nothing... then I decided to try it again for 3 days in a row and it was non-stop people asking about my skin. I even had someone ask me if I was "expecting" (pregnant) because I was glowing. I almost died laughing but I told her it must be this new Illumiator I'm trying out and she said she was going to go buy it. So to make a long story short this stuff is the BOMB! I look in the mirror when I use it with my foundation and do notice that my skin does look more radiant now compared to if I don't use it at all. I had to go out and buy the full-size because I am so pleased with this product and the compliments I get all the time. I bought it at sephora for $41. It's a decent size and a little goes a long way. So I give this a YAY all the way. I totally recommend this to anyone who wants to liven up their skin and get rid of the dullness. It;s not glittery in any way, it just gives this beautiful sheen to the face and makes you look so radiant and alive. So even for people who like a matte look I think they would enjoy this as well. YAY or NAY?
Ok, Well I'm proabably going to be like the only one who gives this a NAY! I bought this mascara at Ulta for $23, I have been on a Mascara Kick lately and been trying out so many to see if I will come across that miracle mascara! But what intrigued my about this mascara was the packaging (and the name) lol. The container is super heavy and feels very high end, and it's a blush pink color. I have heard nothing but good things about this mascara all over youtube and thought I would give it a try. I was very let down when I used it. The brush which I thought would really lengthen and volumize was a big let down for me. It's basically and original mascara wand just with a little flair to it. It didn't do anything for my lashes at all. As I was applying it, it seemed goopy and wasn't giving any curl action or volume or length at all. I was very unhappy because for a $23 mascara you expect a miracle to happen I guess. I have cheap drug store mascaras that do way more and make me look like I have falsies on. I was not pleased at all, I don't know why all the youtube community raves so much about this mascara, it's in my opinion not worth the money and I plan to return it. Update 4/24/2015: I did end up returning this mascara to Ulta and when I was at the register handing it to the clerk she said "Sucks huh" and I was like yes very much sucks lol. She was telling me she had bought it as well because Youtube pursued her to and she hated it, did nothing for her. So we were talking back and forth about better mascaras to invest in and she gave me a few high-end alternatives that she has been loving, I haven't bought anymore high-end mascaras yet because I feel like my $7 Maybelline Lash Sensational is all I need, people think I have falsies on all the time. YAY or NAY?
As many of my followers on Youtube already know, I am extremely picky with my mascara's. I have my favorites but I am always looking for that ALL IN ONE favorite. I had a coupon for this Intenza mascara and purchased it at Rite Aid, I was excited because it was already marked 40% off and then I had a $2 off coupon, so I think I paid like maybe $2 for it lol. But I was super excited to try it out, the brush look interesting and seemed like it would really volumize my lashes. Well I tried it out and was very disappointed. The formula of the mascara itself is very fast drying which clumps to easily and just looks like a HOT MESS. It did nothing for my lashes at all. They didn't look long but instead looked short with clumpy volume. I was so upset, I wanted to wash all my makeup off and do it all over again. I was so unsatisfied with this product. The brush does nothing at all. Another weird thing is it has a scent. (If you have ever used flonase, that is what it smells like, very floral) The packaging seemed nice but not worth the money. So I give this a huge NAY! Update 4/9 : I have been using the lip-glosses and lipsticks quite often within the week since filming this video. The lip-glosses are pretty long lasting for the most part, obviously eating and mouth wipes will take it off but I was surprised at the length of time it stays on. If you want to use just a gloss and want that intense color, I suggest laying a heavy layer on. If you want just a lighter wash of color on the lips just use less product and it comes out beautifully. The lipsticks are still just as nice, I am waiting to get a tan though, many of the colors I ordered look horrible on my ghost white skin lol. But I am still loving the products.
